Bakers S.A. Limited, a leading South African logistics provider, has achieved nearly 70% fuel savings and a 33% reduction in fleet carbon emissions with the deployment of South Africa’s first Mercedes-Benz eActros 300L 4x2 and eSprinter models, in partnership with Zimi Charge.
Powered by Zimi’s 120kW DC charger, these electric trucks enable rapid turnaround times, setting a new standard for sustainable logistics. The charger is integrated with Zeus, Zimi’s software platform, offering real-time insights into energy consumption, fuel savings, and carbon emissions.
